Welcome to Still Mind Zen Meditation

Still Mind Zen Meditation commenced in Paddington in February 2014. Sam was formerly a teacher with the Meditation Sanctuary, founded by Zen Master Brahmasamhara in 1998. With the blessing of his teacher Brahmasamhara [Brahm], Sam opened the Meditation Sanctuary in Epping in 2007. During that time over 400 students have passed through the doors in Epping. Although, now with a new name, Still Mind Zen Meditation continues to offer the essential Zen teachings of Brahmasamhara at our new location in Paddington, Sydney, through a way of learning that has been of great benefit to thousands of students.

The aim of our meditation courses is to offer authentic Zen teachings through gentle guidance. These courses build on techniques week by week, so that with regular practice, by the end you are able to effectively meditate and gain the benefits of this practice that has been taught for thousands of years.

No prior knowledge or experience is required of our new students, making Zen meditation something that people of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy and benefit from.

There are no physical elements to the practice of Zen meditation, and students are welcome to sit either on a mat or in a chair, whichever they prefer. We believe that the most effective way to meditate is if you are comfortable!

For those seeking deeper meaning to their lives, the practice of Zen meditation enables us to live a life of love, kindness and compassion.....and there lies our true happiness!

"Spiritual growth is like learning to walk. We stand up, fall, stand up, fall, take a step, fall, take a couple of steps, fall, walk a little better, wobble a bit, fall, run, and finally, eventually fly." Párang Geri Larkin
